US Supreme Court Justice Samuel A. Alito Jr. in a personal thank you note to Religious Right icon James Dobson, leader of the radical group Focus on The Family:
….as long as I serve on the Supreme Court, I will keep in mind the trust that has been placed in me.."
Translation: “I will obey you, my master.”
Dobson helped organize support from Religious Right groups for President Bush’s nomination of Alito to the court.
