The US Supreme Court let stand a lower court decision banning prayer before meals at publicly funded educational institutions. Good news. I’m happy to pray before meals, but I don’t want someone in the government to write or approve that prayer. And it is reasonable in the extreme to think some students would not wish to pray at all. That’s ok. We can leave prayer to churches and private occasions and we’ll all be just fine.
