John Edwards is a great pick for vice-president. He was the only candidate during the primary campaign to offer a real initiative to reduce poverty. Just over a month ago I got the chance to meet Senator Edwards briefly when he spoke at the Clergy Leadership Network National Gathering. John Kerry should be congratulated for making such a solid choice.
