Yesterday marked the death of the 1,000th US military casualty in Iraq. Sadly, these Americans have given their lives in a war that did not have to be fought. Pray for them and their families as the death toll continues to climb. CNN.com maintains a site listing all the American deaths with short biographical information on each solider. It is a moving memorial.
