This evening Liz and I attended a fundraiser for the Missouri chapter of NARAL. Oregon’s annual NARAL silent action and dinner was always on my calendar before coming to seminary (and will be again once we move back). But we were glad to help support the cause in our temporary home. Missouri’s governor is rabidly anti-choice and pro-choice advocates in Missouri have a difficult task. If you’re looking for a good cause to support consider giving to NARAL or the Religious Coalition for Reproductive Choice (I’m a member of their seminarian group).
