Ray Nagin’s Bad Theology

New Orleans Mayor Ray Nagin has nominated himself for the bad theologian of the year award.

Yesterday in speech he said that God had sent Hurricane Katrina to punish America.

No, God didn’t.

Pastor Dan has a good post over at Street Prophets correcting the mayor.

Thankfully, Mayor Nagin apologized for the remarks today.
