Portland's First United Methodist Church, 1838 SW Jefferson Street, will be offering a workshop on being a "Faithful Witness In A Troubled World" on Saturday, March 4th The Rev. Bob Edgar, general secretary of the National Council of Churches, will be the speaker. The program will begin at 9am and is sponsored by the Methodist Federation for Social Action. Rabbi Michael Lerner will be speaking at Portland’s First Congregational United Church of Christ, 1126 SW Park Avenue, on Sunday, March 5th.
