Last weekend we took off to the Bay Area where we visited Liz's family. This weekend we've driven up to Puget Island, Washington (in the Columbia River) where my mother and step-father live. The weather is great and this morning we took the boat out for a very short spin. Hugo and Hazel, our trusty dogs, are out and about on the property chasing down chickens and goats. My sister Jennifer and nephew Ian are also here today.
